What this is
A reference on the rules and mathematics of casino games. Blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, video poker, keno, and the common carnival table games. For each one: the rules as actually dealt, the probability of each outcome, the resulting house edge, and the strategy that changes it.
What this is not
- Not a casino. No wagering, no accounts, no deposits.
- Not a review site. We do not rank operators, and we do not tell you where to play.
- Not a tipster. There is no betting system on this site that beats a negative-expectation game, because there isn’t one.
Editorial approach
Three rules govern what gets published here.
Show the arithmetic. A house-edge figure without its derivation is a claim, not a fact. Where a number can be worked out in a paragraph, we work it out. Where it requires exhaustive enumeration of millions of hands — blackjack strategy charts, video poker returns — we say which rule set the published figure assumes, because the number is meaningless without it.
State the rule set. “Blackjack has a 0.5% house edge” is false roughly as often as it is true. It depends on deck count, whether the dealer hits soft 17, whether doubling after splits is allowed, whether surrender exists, and above all what a natural pays. Every figure here carries its conditions.
Never round in the house’s favour by accident. Where sources disagree, we prefer the figure we can reproduce and say so.
Funding
The site is currently unfunded and carries no advertising. If that changes, this section will say exactly how, before it changes — including any paid placement or affiliate arrangement. We will not retroactively edit rankings or recommendations to suit a commercial relationship, because there are no rankings or recommendations to edit.
Corrections
Mathematical errors are the ones we most want to hear about. If a probability, payout, or edge figure on this site is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed with a note on the page.
